SITELAB urban studio is looking for urban designers with 6 to 10 years professional experience to join our San Francisco office. Our ideal candidates have experience working on strategic design projects, as well as an ability to communicate clearly through visual language (diagrams, models, maps, and sketches). We are small, fast-paced office — we look for designers that are curious, engaged, ready for a challenge, and have a sense of humor. You’ll learn a lot and have great opportunities for growth. Candidates must have a master’s degree in urban design, architecture, or landscape architecture and a minimum of 4 years working in a design capacity. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Rhino, rendering, and Excel is required; experience with additional software such as Revit, SketchUp, and GIS is a great plus.

Current projects range from leading the urban design and outreach for Pier 70 in San Francisco to strategic vision plans for McLaren Park to designing an open-source toolkit for homeless services non-profit, Lava Mae. Clients include large private developers, cities and counties, non-profits and community groups.
