Assistant Project Manager Full Time Position Available.

We are a Design + Build Office looking for a Full time Assistant Project Manager. You will work directly with our Co-Founder and assist her with: ongoing construction projects, office paperwork, site visits, client and vendor  meetings. This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and is looking to obtain experience in architecture and construction management.

Assistant Project Manager responsibilities:

  1. Visit project sites to evaluate progress and to respond to customers’ concerns or questions
  2. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure our construction teams have the materials they need
  3. Communicate with site superintendents about delays and any other issues that must be communicated to client
  4. Scan and archive digital blueprints,schematics and any additional paperwork for future access

Assistant Project Manager Skills

  1. High school diploma required
  2. Two- or four-year degree preferred
  3. Experience in the construction industry a plus
  4. Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
  5. Excellent communication, accounting and organizational skills
