Arquitectoncia is a design-focused architecture, interior design and planning firm that began in Miami in 1977 as an experimental studio.  Led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, that studio has evolved into a worldwide practice, combining the creative spirit of the founding Principals with the efficiency of delivery and reliability of a major architectural firm.  This position is specifically for the New York office. 

Full-time positions are available for work on several projects around the world with an immediate focus on work in the US and Canada.  Projects will range in variety from high-rise residential, to large scale mixed-use developments and master planning.  Successful candidates will work in all stages of project development from concept design through to construction administration and capabilities/interests of the candidate will determine their involvement.

Position requirements include:

  • Professional architecture degree from an accredited university
  • 5-8 years post-grad experience
  • Strong portfolio of professional work illustrating graphic and design sensibility
  • Well organized, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and accurately complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to collaborate well in a team environment and to develop junior colleagues
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States
