Our growing firm is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and energetic candidate to join our team as Project Manager.  We are a highly recognized, frequently published leader in the commercial architecture and interior design community offering design and manufacturing services to build and deliver highly sophisticated wall and ceiling systems, building facades, art installations and furniture pieces that ultimately transform the spaces where people live, work and play. Our talented team consists of architects, designers, engineers, programmers and marketing personnel with a full range of knowledge that integrates superior design solutions, advanced software scripting, leading manufacturing processes and industry-leading production equipment, all to produce exceptional, award-winning client installations.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) client communications, design consultation and formulation, creation of detailed shop drawings, project scheduling and management. The candidate who best fits our needs has the key ability to address complex project challenges while technically and creatively finding solutions to address and resolve them in collaboration with his or her teammates and through the customer. Our selected candidate will have the demonstrated ability to manage small teams and other junior project managers while being able to establish and maintain our company's standards. This individual will proactively collaborate with quality assurance personnel while reporting to senior management on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and/or skills, including demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of:

  • Software: CAD (highly proficient), graphics based packages and solid understanding of 3D software
  • Good understanding of Rhino
  • 5+ years' experience working in an architectural office
  • Experience in detailing construction documents (architectural detailing experience with complex geometry a plus)
  • Construction scheduling and management
  • Strong ability to drive and lead teams to solutions
