About

Since I can remember, athletics have been an important aspect of my life. My experiences in sports and the outdoors have granted me opportunities to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and resourcefulness, as well as forging a focused and determined work ethic that’s allowed me to succeed in my professional career. My all-or-nothing nature and thirst for knowledge has led me to undertake many projects over the years with which I've had no previous familiarity, gaining insight and expertise along the way. For instance, in high school I constructed an electric guitar from scratch as an independent study, without ever having held one before.

Over the past 12 years, I've worked in both large (200+ employees) and small (1-2 employees) architectural firms, each of which has granted me opportunities such as managing project teams, executing design-build construction sets, designing U.S. diplomatic facilities, and integrating the latest in design and construction technology. My professional talents ranging from BIM expertise, concept formulation, modeling craft, and graphic design, along with a knack for electronics and planning has granted me a powerful skill-set to offer employers.

After my acceptance to the program in 2006, I've also spent time outside of the classroom & office, working with the Clinton Global Initiative University in New Orleans where I aided Brad Pitt and his Make It Right team, helping to restore the Lower 9th Ward following Hurricane Katrina. I've also volunteered at CGI's annual meetings in New York City, where world business leaders & heads of state meet to address pressing global issues.

In my free time, my passions lie in sports (cycling, soccer, triathlon) and the outdoors (hiking, camping, alpine climbing, kayaking, nordic/downhill/telemark/water skiing) as well as photography, reading, and guitar.
