The history and birth of riverside, California was founded upon the citrus industry in the late 19th century and is evident throughout the city as a source of pride.  Subsequently the University of Riverside boasts the largest collection, most diverse collocation of citrus varsities in the world. The University of Riverside Takes pride in being in the forefront of the technology leading the way of the future. As a way to display the cities pride and history while heralding the mission of the university, the stadium will embrace the dichotomy as dialogue between the rural and the man made future. To demonstrate the duality of the stadium a modern structure will be intergraded with a mountain rural design. Additionally a path from the parking structure to the main lobby will be than main circulation that is showcase of the schools collection of citrus trees.
