Brooklyn, NY
This project began with the neglected shell of a multi-family townhouse. We brought a fresh, contemporary vision to the interiors while incorporating central air conditioning and converting the house back to single-family use. The central supporting walls were removed at the living floors to reinforce the modern sense of open space. We designed crisp, minimal kitchens and bathrooms while restoring function to one fireplace. A custom hearth and mantel provides a new focus for the living space, while new French doors and a new deck off the back of the parlor floor extends the living space outside.
