In today’s architectural landscape, where structures primarily serve functional purposes, this project aims to rekindle a focus on the building itself. Positioned adjacent to a bustling farmer’s market in Troy, this structure evokes a blend of discomfort and warmth through its wrinkled facade. This oddly posed structure amidst the vibrant market fosters a youthful curiosity, drawing individuals to explore the wrinkles. Uncertainty about the firmness, color, and senility of these wrinkles entices visitors to approach the building and gravitate towards the entrances. The internal layout winds continuously, guiding a search for spaces defined by the unique expressions of the wrinkles when viewed from specific angles.
