After completing my architecture degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, I moved to Los Angeles to further pursue my career in the profession. I have always been keen on sustainable, functional yet elegant designs, with a fascination for attention to detail.
I am working as a junior associate at AMLSTUDIO, an architectural firm in Venice, California which specializes in high-end residential and commercial projects. Working at a small firm allows me to become involved in every stage of the building process, from visualizing designs to producing construction documents. I am well-trained to multi-task and be extremely meticulous at work. I have worked under high stress and tight schedules for numerous times and tackled each of them successfully. I have grown a lot skill-wise as an architecture professional and as an efficient team player working under great mentors.
Before coming to the United States, I worked as an architectural associate for Shangri-La International Hotel Group in Hong Kong specializing in production management and project organization. Having experience in both local and overseas, multinational corporations and small companies, I am equipped with excellent adaptability and communication skills with colleagues from a diverse culture.
On the other hand, I am an active learner outside of work. I enrolled in the Graduation Preparation Program at the Los Angeles Institute of Architecture aiming to further strengthen my model-making, computation, and graphic skills so that I can keep up to the newest technology of the fast-changing industry.
I am definitely interested in building a professional career and getting licensed in the future. I believe I am a good fit for your current open position and I look forward to any opportunity to discuss more on the job and what I can do for your firm.
