• Manage all fabrics and the display of them in showroom. Organize, hang and label new fabrics, scan them into inventory system, present all new fabric collections to staff and prepare them to sell merchandise.
• Collaborate with New York corporate design team to implement their showroom remodel designs. Handle all aspects of remodels including receiving materials, managing construction and ensuring that the final remodel maintains Kravet’s aesthetics. Supervise five remodels per year.
• Work on showroom floor and on the phone with clients, helping them to choose appropriate fabrics, furniture, accessories and rugs and upselling promotional products. Prepare samples and tear sheets, quote prices and take orders. Built ongoing relationships with key designers.
• Organize all showroom special and ongoing events, including themes, guest lists, invitations, promotions, signage, rentals, catering, speakers, setup and takedown.
• Train, supervise, and assign tasks to showroom interns. Managed 10 interns in first year.
