Jean-Pierre Villafañe is a graduate of Columbia University's GSAPP with a Masters in Architecture, and a Manhattan based muralist and painter. Aroused by art in the urban environment, he began embellishing walls with graffiti during his early years in Puerto Rico. This passion for urban art led him to architecture school at SCAD where he fused painting, sculpture, illustration and architecture to create his own visual language. His eclectic work is inspired by a concoction of music, film, dance and daily reveries.
