Jean Emanuel Tremblay — also known as JET — is an artist, designer, and researcher. His ongoing curiosity allows him to acknowledge methods, tools, and theories from a wide range of expertise, which is not constrained to the field of architecture. It results in an original body of work that includes buildings, objects, and fictions.
He is currently in the writing process of a research thesis pursuing a master of science in architecture as part of a dual master’s degree program. Within this framework, he examines virtual reality as a technical object understood in the words of the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon. Thereby, he would like to show that virtual reality opens up new milieus for architects and holds significant power to impact our cultural world.
