J.E. Armstrong Architects, Inc. is a full service architectural firm founded in 1991 by James E. Armstrong. Since 1991, our firm has grown to include several licensed architects, project managers, production staff drafters, office manager, and support personnel.  Early work consisted primarily of custom and tract residences, but it quickly expanded to include many types and sizes of projects reaching throughout Ventura County, the Southwestern United States, and even as far as the Pacific Rim and Mexico.

Our attitude toward the business of architectural practice is dynamic and flexible. We share contract information with regard to project scope, design costs, and fees with all members of the firm. We encourage and receive innovative ideas from all office personnel in regard to project particulars and general business procedures. Successful practice of architecture can only be realized through
a businesslike attitude toward the daily operation of the firm. In addition to ongoing review of new technologies and design trends in architecture, we monitor and adopt the best current business practices as expressed in trade journals and management seminars.

J.E. Armstrong, Architects, Inc. has been widely recognized for its design abilities. We have a vast amount of experience in the design of buildings involving multiple functions and users. We firmly believe that the best architectural solution for a particular project is that which meets the owner’s building program and budget constraints, while conforming to the specifics of the site and climate, agency requirements and user needs. Our practice is largely based on repeat business from clients.
