On spring quarter 2013, Brown Jordan International sponsored a studio class, the goal was to design exterior furniture sets for the opening price points aimed to be pitched to mayor commercial chains. The furniture pieces had to be in the transitional/ traditional category, while maintaining low manufacture costs .
