Invited to submit a proposal for a senior residential college at Vanderbilt university on a sloping site, a sustainable initiative led our team to propose a mass timber structure with a thickened ground plane. The orientation of the campus would act as a gateway between the greater Undergraduate campus (to the South-West) and downtown Nashville (to the North-East)
