The Design will be build by a partner builders base in Nairobi, Kenya, a narrow land with the area of 4000sqm with the dimension of 200m x 20m, as plan land owners wanted to build a new Apartment in their place which is low cost, made of concrete with the wall thickness of 150mm to 200mm all facade and slab are made of concrete. What we are designing is an Apartment that control heat from the sunrays, KENYA is an african country where having an almost all year summer. Each building had 2 type of Apartment 2 Bedroom on the left and 3 bedroom on the right, the size of 2 bedroom is 75sqm with a share 1 bathroom and ensuite with a spacious pantry for food stocking. While the 3 Bedroom apartment size of 100sqm master bedroom had own ensuite and shared door to share shower to the 2 bedroom. Typically the design is adopted to Kenyan Culture where all family gather together with spacious living room , kitchen and dining. The building consist of 10 Apartment each for the total communities with their landscape and children playground space.
As seen in Master Plan image the 4 building with 10 unit is facing each other in opposite way with the roof top for parties and ground floor parking, each unit owner are having their own parking space with a slot for bike parking near the children playground.
