Currently residing in NYC, I am ready to relocate for work. I am looking for an engaging and positive full-time employment at an architecture firm.

I worked at an engineering firm, an architecture firm (SRS Architecture) and architecture / interior design firm (Roman and Williams). I have skills ranging from surveying, producing construction drawings, post processing, rendering, 3D and hand modelling, presentation, and sourcing materials. I am versatile with rendering tools and latest CAD softwares including Revit and AutoCAD.

I am passionate about architecture from theory to practice. I believe architecture is about setting a right stage for people take advantage of and enjoy. This is my mindset whenever I am travelling through any space. I had a privilege of travelling many parts of Asia and growing up in many North American cities. Throughout my architectural studies at Pratt, I interned at various firms and assisted in different research programs as well. I am grateful for what I have learned so far in the world of architecture, and I am ready to take the next part of the journey.

Mark Rakatansky Studio, New York, NY, US, Design Assistant

I worked hand in hand with one of my design professors on a residential project in a gated community in Ecuador. We were given various possible sites and guidelines. I was tasked with creating basic massing designs to locating programs. This was a very intense day to day cooperation where I would provide new / modified scheme salmost daily until our proposal would have just the right look and the programs would interact with each other organically. We dealt with many unique programs (music studio, dumb waiters, lap pool, connection to the canal, etc) and tried to avoid traditional giant mansion look typical to these developments.

Roman and Williams Buildings and Interiors, New York, NY, US, Architecture / Interior Design Intern

I used my 3D model making and rendering skills to provide in-house renders of interior spaces and furniture for better visualisation. I have developed subtle new ways to present interior elevations and plans for better client presentations. I have also lead the way for 3D printing millworks, doorknobs, and other details for better understanding of obscure and expensive materials. I have also helped draw custom furniture drawings.

Pratt Institute - professor Frederick Biehle, New York, NY, US, Urban Design Research Assistant

I worked alongside with professor Frederick Biehle to study the urban landscape 150+ NYCHA (local housing authority) projects have created since 1936. We believe the obsession with clearing slums and ‘de-population’ caused an unhealthy adherence to the ‘tower and park’ and superblock design that created a bad environment for the inhabitants of these projects. My hard research involvement ranged from going through archives such as NYCHA’s, LaGuardia, NYPL, and NY Times. We studied the situation with a series of figure-ground drawings of all NYCHA projects in Manhattan.

SRS Architects, New York, NY, US, Architecture Intern

I surveyed a pre-1940 building going through major renovations and provided possible ways to make the five storey walk-up ADA compliant. Following the latest NYC and national codes, I drew up possible ramp solutions and adding an elevator next to the stairs with the correct manufacturer’s dimensions. I also designed merging of two apartment units, involving surveying, knocking down partitions, and redesigning interior spaces.
