I am Architect Janvi Mehta and I desire to apply for a job in NJ / NYC companies under the post of ‘Senior Architect / Designer / Senior Interior Designer’.
With a background in architecture and interior design and a passion for creating innovative and functional spaces and with a work experience of over 9.5 years in the field of architecture and majorly interiors in India. I have designed, executed and managed several projects in India and groomed interns and trainees under me.
Over the course of my career as an architect and interior designer in India, I have honed my skills in conceptualizing, planning, and executing residential, retail, commercial and hospitality projects. I have a proven track record of successfully transforming design concepts into reality, ensuring that they not only meet aesthetic standards but also practical functionality. I understand the importance of collaboration, and I have worked closely with architects, builders, and clients to bring visions to life.
After completing my internship with Callison LLC, Seattle USA and post my B. Arch graduation in 2014 from Balwant Sheth school of Architecture, NMIMS, Mumbai, I have worked at different architecture and interior design companies in Mumbai in Retail, Hospitality, Commercial and Residential sectors and I'm now a Proprietor and Principal Architect at ‘Design Storie™️’, Mumbai since 2019 where I have been undertaking residential interior design projects in Mumbai.
One of my most significant achievements was my involvement in ‘Naturals Now at Juhu’, Mumbai with Drink water Company where I played a pivotal role in designing and overseeing complete redesigning of the existing structure. ‘Naturals Now’ is a distinct ice-cream brand that’s crafted from the mother brand ‘Naturals’. This project demanded an acute understanding of architectural, interior and landscape design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage resources and deal with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants effectively. The result was a space that seamlessly combined the original structure with contemporary functionality and infusion of a green oasis in the midst of the bustling Mumbai Suburb.
My proficiency in various design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and basic Revit ensures that I can effectively communicate my ideas and concepts to clients and team members. I am also well-versed in staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, sustainable practices, and building codes to deliver projects that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible.
