This 235 SF micro-apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan was designed to maximize storage while keeping as much open space as possible in the main room. A former hotel suite, this space required a compact kitchen and working surface in the form of a fold-away desk to bring modern functionality to the new home. Updated and luxurious materials in a muted palette provide a calming space with rich visual detail. This is punctuated by bold patterns and color in the bathroom, acting like a separate space entirely; an soothing from the concentrated activity of a studio. Well provided closet storage makes sure clutter doesn't make it to the main space
