Jamie Hsu is capable on multiple levels. She combined her business background
knowledge and interior design skills at her first full-time job. Through this work
experience, she discovered that a good design is essential to the value of a good.
“Design is everything” – from scratch to when the product is in the hands of customers,
the whole process is a part of designing. Even though she majored in business,
she has decided to pursue her passion of being an interior designer. She also
understands that there is an intricate relationship between design and social sciences.
Amazed by the close relationship between space and people, she is excited
to explore the whys and wherefores of transforming an atmosphere using different
combinations of spatial elements. From this real world experience, she developed
a sense of awareness to understand clients’ needs by observing their lifestyles.
