Urban infill housing for the historic Old Fourth Ward in Atlanta, Georgia, a neighborhood historically occupied by lower-class African American families. Each student was given the liberty to choose how many parcels he or she would occupy (limit one block) in addition to the number of units per acre. This building sits on six parcels (one-half block) and is designed to accommodate 150 residential units with ground floor retail. The tower/raised garden design is inspired by Lake Point Tower in Chicago, Illinois.
