University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, US, Bachelors, Interiors
The School of Interiors is a CIDA accredited institution at the University of Kentucky. At the School of Interiors, I learned the ins and outs of the Interior Design profession including History, software, fabrication, FF&E, and the professions relationship to the wider scope of design. During my studies, I additionally took several Architecture studios to obtain a wider perspective on design as a collaborative subject.
ENSA Montpellier - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Montpellier, Montpellier, FR, Architecture
In addition to my time at the University of Kentucky, I had the opportunity to transfer to L'Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture in Montpellier, France to study Architecture for several months. This experience helped me gain new perspectives on Design and its history throughout Europe. I valued this as an incredible learning experience in which I was completely removed from my comfort zone and forced to adapt to a new environment.
