About

Personal Background:

Growing up in a small town in the West of Negros, I was surrounded by people who instilled in me a strong work ethic and the importance of character. I was taught to be grounded, to always work hard, and to live a purposeful life. This upbringing taught me the value of hard work and dedication, which I put to use in helping our small family business. From a young age, I had to stand on my own two feet and take responsibility for myself. This prepared me for the future when I started out in a small firm, I eventually decided to pursue a career that would allow me to reach my full potential. I struggled but rose to success due to my commitment and drive.

Profile overview:

My architecture degree is focused on conceptual design and visualization. When I was in College, I garnered awards and recognition in different design competitions and a museum design thesis award.

Outside of the academe, I’ve participated in volunteering programs such as community events for the elderly, skill sharing, and arts education for children in remote areas.

Based on experience and efficacy at work:

I'm excellent in leadership, I used to communicate with lead designers, architects, businessmen, and builders to deliver finished products on-time and in-budget. I’ve delivered projects consistently up to 30% below budget without sacrificing the client's needs.

Career development:
I had my first job in 2014 as a working student at CH Builders, a design and build firm. Architect Cornelio Hilado mentored me and helped me to develop major strengths in the first 4 years of working in both design and technical areas.

In the early months of 2017, while the CH Builders temporarily closed I was hired as an entry-level intern (level 1 graduate intern) for the WERCO Arcade Project. The project ran for 8 months only.

In June 2018, Segundino Enumerables, the Principal Architect of ArkSigg99 Construction opened his new design studio. While I was reviewing for the Architects' Licensure Examination, I started as a part-time designer, I was mostly involved in the conceptual stages until December of 2018. After I passed the exam on June 2019, I was promoted to Senior Architect of the company. I was awarded Employee of the Year from 2018-2021. Due to the pandemic, the studio of up to 10 designers and 4 interns did not survive. It closed in November 2021.

The pandemic extremely affected our state, so I moved to Makati, Metro Manila in 2021 for better job opportunities. After a month, I started to work for Porcelanosa Grupo, a Spanish multinational company. I was assigned as an architectural designer for luxury kitchens, bathrooms, and other spaces. I handled projects such as luxury malls and high-end residences.

On January 2022, I was offered a job in the middle east. Emaar Architects of Bahrain hired me as one of their Architectural Designers, I started working at Emaar in September of 2022 until today.
