About

I am a passionate, inter-disciplinary professional, currently living in Lisbon and working for a number of studios including Square One & Turf Design Studio. My approach to design is both creative and scientifically founded. Although formally educated as an architect, my interests lie in projects that are deeply rooted to the environment and local climatic conditions. I strive to create places that weave landscape and the built environment into one.

I have worked for a variety of architectural studios in Europe, Australia and South Africa, where I gained valuable experience in a range of different sectors. I have also held several teaching positions, throughout my Masters degree. My technical proficiency, leadership abilities and verbal and communication skills make me a great asset to any studio.

I am an enthusiastic designer, interested primarily in social architecture, Integrated infrastructural design, urban scheme development, landscape and detailing. I have a deep understanding of the built environment at regional, building and technical scales and have a firm background in environmental, geographical and community design.
