Architect in Training with over 5 years of experience in the construction design field in Mexico, the US, and Puerto Rico. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and a Master's of Architecture from the University of Oregon. He joined Andrés Mignucci Arquitectos in 2021 where he has collaborated in the development of residential and commercial projects from conceptual stages to the construction phase, including site design, 3D modeling, visual representation, as-built documentation, and construction document sets. He brings a perspective on sustainable building practices due to his work as a graduate research fellow at the University of Oregon under the guidance of Kevin van den Wymelemberg, where he contributed to daylight simulation algorithms as well as co-authored papers on resilient modular housing prototypes. Iván lends a sound knowledge of effective site design, structural analysis, and SIP panel design and construction due to his collaboration on civil engineering projects with EBP Design Group and BLS Mexico.
