Iva Bekic was born in 1987 in Zagreb (Croatia), spent her early childhood in Italy and grew up in Belgrade (Serbia). She finished Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, Serbia. She was engaged as teaching associate with ass.arch. Davor Eres at her final year of master studies (2 semesters), fall/spring 2011/2012.
She had three solo exhibitions in UK Parobrod (Belgrade, Serbia) as a part of an art-architect group called O N E. Iva was also invited to be the creative coordinator and designer for an exhibition in gallery O3one (Belgrade, Serbia) during B-Link festival: Festival of new communication.
She is engaged in photography preferring analog over digital, and had experimented with audio and video forms. She likes to flirt with religion and is very religious about that.
She was comissioned by BHSF Architekten (Zürich, Switzerland) to come up with a design solution for the interior of their new work space Camenzind office (Belgrade, Serbia). Architects desing for architects.

2015 Fairy Tales competition, Honorable Mention
2015 Fairy Tales competition, the second iteration of the popular ideas contest that challenges participants to produce inspired architectural projects accompanied by fictional stories.
WITH OVER 1,200 PARTICIPANTS FROM 65 COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD, The jury selected the 1st and 2nd place winners, along with a tie for 3rd place. The jury also awarded 11 honorable mentions.

Best Interior Design - 36th Salon of Architecture, 1st Place
This year the 36th Salon of Architecture will be held in the Museum of Applied Art and it will last from March 26 to April 30, 2014. Great jubilee – fortieth anniversary of the establishment of the Salon of Architecture (1974-2014) will mark the event.
There were 264 works applying for the competition, out of which 114 were selected to be exhibited at the Salon. Seventy four of them were eligible for awards and prizes.
Tamara Popovic and myself, won for BEST INTERIOR DESIGN, with "Lol! Pantheon", Camenzing office space.
