Creative Problem Solver / Graph Enthusiast
Ting is a recent graduate of the Master of Science in Sustainable Design and the Bachelor of Architecture programs at Carnegie Mellon University. She believes that the purpose of architecture must be for its inhabitants’ comfort while benefiting its surroundings, and in turn, inhabitants must operate buildings in a way that promotes social, economic and environmental responsibility. As a data nerd, Ting believes that data is powerful; with the right visual presentation of data, people can be compelled to action.
She is currently working as a research associate at Center of Building Performance and Diagnostics, benchmarking the Philadelphia Zoo and designing graphics for a user interface integrating building automation, service requests and utility consumption reduction for facility managers at Carnegie Mellon University.
