This work aims to provoke the viewer’s awareness of sustainable water practices, and an opportunity for those to reflect upon their own participation in the matter. In thinking about sustainability, I began with an abstraction of water’s basic molecular geometry. Through various iterations, I was able to abstract and visualize the various states of water, from a solid, to a liquid, to a gas in the form of stainless steel square tubing and sheet. Societies mark, a fingerprint, creates a ripple effect through the physical states, and precast concrete surface for the better, or worse of the resources' future.
