Hello,
I am Isha Shah, I am currently a graduate student at Pratt Institute pursuing Master's of Science in architecture. I have completed my bachelor's from Mumbai University- VIVA School of Architecture.

I used to make presentation drawings, renderings, make 3D for presenting to the clients. I designed the company website and brochures that were circulated.
Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, US, Masters, Master of science in Architecture
I learned during my academic career at Pratt. In my current role, I have used Rhino the most in my academic work.
Although my undergraduate projects are dear to me, I enjoy my work at Pratt Institute. Studying at Pratt constantly developed my perspective on design and helped me grow and ask more critical
research questions. Pratt's academia is about research and study of adaptive reuse as it transforms human activity. This calls into question the human habitat. Analysis and design aim to meet the
challenge of sustainability through human behavior rather than technology.
Pratt helped me develop the ability to look at an architectural challenge from a different perspective, which over time led me to theorize and develop adequate and inventive research questions. Questions I have yet to ask in my design. Pratt's course is divided into three phases: research, design, and
fabrication. Regarding the study, I wrote an academic book "THE SHAPE OF WATER" on URBAN VOIDS. The book contains my arguments, research questions, and further research on
“THE COMMONS” theme of "WATER".
Along with learning about research and design processes, I gained many skills such as using woodworking tools and techniques, CNC milling, laser cutting, robotics, 3D printing, acrylic bending, vacuum foaming, and hand modeling. I am currently in phase three: fabrication and have learned how to curate an exhibition to show my prototype.
