My story is a rather simple one: I’ve been in the architectural school (2001-2007 – “Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism”, Bucharest), I’ve had the chance to an Erasmus Scholarship (2005-2006 – “Institut d’Architecture Sain-Luc de Wallonie”, Liège, Belgium).
As for my working experience, I’ve been part-time employee from 2003 till 2007, and after graduation I plunged fully-equipped into full-time architecture: designing process (from concept to authorization stage and technical details), I've also worked as a design-coordinator in an international office of Project Management for a large scale Shopping Mall in Bucharest and I've also done some 3D rendering and presentation jobs. From July 2010 I’m on my own, as a freelance architect within the Individual Architecture Bureau and I’ve discovered that, even sometimes difficult, it is the best way for me to function: I get to mix a great deal of the creative areas that define me.
Hmmm…what else?.. Lately I have become more and more interested in alternative building methods and materials… and even more interested in augmenting my professional experience within international practices.
I will let my work tell you more about me. If any questions don't hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Ioana Padure

Integrated Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programme, 6 years, 360 ECTS Credits.
According to national legislation concerning architecture as a regulated profession, this programme is an integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s cycle (which means that no intermediate Bachelor’s degree is awarded to those who do not complete the requirements for the final Master’s degree). The Master’s degree is awarded at the end of the 6 years period of full-time study (including diploma work) and requires 360 ECTS credits.
The graduates of the 6-year Architecture programme receive an architect’s diploma (“diploma de architect”), which confers them the right of liberally practicing the profession, according to the Law of Architecture. Moreover, the complex professional formation gives them the possibility of orienting themselves towards other related artistic, technical or theoretical fields (scenography, graphics, advertisement, critique, journalism, etc). The degree of Master in Architecture allows them to pursue the third cycle of higher education (doctoral studies) and in this way to orient themselves toward research and/or an academic career.
The 6-year Architecture programme is accredited by the ARACIS (Romanian Agency for Quality Assessment in the Higher Education), as well as by the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).
