I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and for the first years of my life lived in a house designed and built by my father and his friends. I then moved to Indiana, USA, to a beige cookie cutter house surrounded by perfectly paved roads. 8 years later I experienced an even greater change in environment: I moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I was thrown into a chaotic environment that seemed to burst with art and energy. It opened my eyes to not only the world of skyscraping architecture and the modern city, but its hidden alleyways and bustling underground. My car rides back from school to my modern, high-rise apartment were spent gazing at the huge murals on the underbellies of highways and the torn down facades of abandoned buildings.
I then moved to Los Angeles, and spent summers working in New York and Miami: 3 cities with their own strong urban, artistic, and architectural identities.
Architecture is my way of understanding my place in these clashing worlds, languages, shapes, and cultures.
