The project is located on Route 17 in Paramus which is one of the busiest highway retail corridors in the North East of US. The faceted wood clad geometry proposes an asymmetrical composition that works with the flow of the adjacent highway traffic. The angular form introduces an expanded storefront frame as well as an asymmetric roof profile that gives a contrasting and distinct character to the building for more customer appeal.
The interior of the showroom has low profile streamlined wall partitions that change thickness and direction to accommodate various kinds of furniture set ups in between them and direct customers into pre-determined paths for each collection. Also, the varying thickness of the walls have been utilized as an elevated level of furniture display distributed throughout the showroom.
