At AKKA Architects I was involved in all aspects of the design process; research, conceptual design, communication with clients, 3D-visualization, construction site coordination and technical detailing.
During this time I became proficient with Photoshop and learned to work in ArchiCAD.

When new parking regulations where announced in The Netherlands, Groosmans Partners asked my to do an intensive research and ‘uiteenzetten’ the differences. This research is published by Groosmans Partners and now used by architectural and engineering companies all over The Netherlands.

As a volunteer I worked as a graphic designer for Cordaiad Urban Matters to visualize their strategies on housing and sanitation in slum areas.
Trashy Bags, Accra, GH, Project Leader & Architect
For my graduation of the Delft University of Technology, I did an intensive research on participation design. Based on the knowledge gained from this research, I applied this method in Ghana where I lived and worked with the workers of Trashy Bags for a period of three months. During an intensive participation we designed their future dwellings. This resulted in a ‘veelbelovend’ project which reflect the rich Ghanaian culture and innovative, low-tech technologies.

Besides my studies at the Delft University of Technology, I worked part-time for the architectural magazin DASH. Here I was responsible for the project-documentation.
During this time I become proficient with AutoCAD, Illustrator and Indesign.

During my internship with Kraaijvanger.Urbis I had the opportunity to work at the different departments: urbanism, architecture and interior. I was responsible for the visualization of urban planning, architectural concepts and drawings and the design of a carper, currently under production for the new Municipality Building in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
In this period I learned to work with VectorWorks and ArchiCAD.
