For my graduation of the Delft University of Technology, I did an intensive research on participation design. Based on the knowledge gained from this research, I applied this method in Ghana where I lived and worked with the workers of Trashy Bags for a period of three months. During an intensive participation we designed their future dwellings. This resulted in a ‘veelbelovend’ project which reflect the rich Ghanaian culture and innovative, low-tech technologies.

Besides my studies at the Delft University of Technology, I worked part-time for the architectural magazin DASH. Here I was responsible for the project-documentation.

During this time I become proficient with AutoCAD, Illustrator and Indesign.

During my internship with Kraaijvanger.Urbis I had the opportunity to work at the different departments: urbanism, architecture and interior. I was responsible for the visualization of urban planning, architectural concepts and drawings and the design of a carper, currently under production for the new Municipality Building in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

In this period I learned to work with VectorWorks and ArchiCAD.
