Ilker Kocahan holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design with a minor in architecture from the University of Marmara, Faculty of Fine Arts in Istanbul, Turkey. He lived and practiced in the Washington DC metro area as an architectural designer and renderer for 10 years, and has been practicing in New York City since 2010. With an 30 years of professional experience in the field, he has mastered in the development of architectural and schematic design ideas, rapid production of hand-drafted sketches, and renderings utilizing water-color, marker graphite and airbrush techniques. The project types he has engaged in include diverse mixed use commercial and residential projects, hotels, retail, urban development and many others.
