The National Nuclear Security Administration, is shifting from their current multi-building system into a single building to house all departments. ID Studios partnered with KMA Architecture to bring a unique and dynamic design to this new, ground-up government building. With its two-story high ceilings, wood wall features, and exposed structure, the lobby provides a striking sense of entry and importance. Utilizing bold patterns, wood feature elements, and pops of color in both the three-story courtyard and connecting large breakroom, a vibrant, dynamic environment was created while still remaining true to the tailored and structured roots of the project.
