About

I’m at my best when solving problems through people-oriented architecture and design. A collaborative creative type, my process is supplemented by my digital media background and hand media skill-set. I've built and tested Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality (collectively known as XR) products.

Key Skills:
- Actively involved in mixed-use/residential, multi-family projects, including completion of design, building-permit, and IFC stages.
- Working with team members to hit key submission targets, implementing communication skills learned from app/game development
- Building my skills in project management and coordination
- Organizer of the Architects in Vancouver meetup, a social outlet for professionals working in AEC to mingle and create lasting connections.

Relationship Builder:
- I strongly believe that friendships within and without the AEC industry are key to growth; as professionals and people.
- Through connecting people I can keep a finger on the pulse of the industry, while constantly introducing others to new ideas or products.

Mixed-Media Enthusiast:
- I constantly look for new ways to convey design solutions. My connections and development experience om the XR industry give me access to advanced technology that could be implemented in AEC projects.
- Drawing is the easiest rendering software, so I still focus on effective physical communication. Sometimes the best solutions incorporate a hybrid of old and new methods.

Education:
- My masters in Digital Media degree has opened doors to the entertainment and app industry. Thanks to this program, I can bring cutting-edge technology and development practices into the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries.
- University of Oregon's Bachelor of Architecture was a 5-year program that taught me how to solve design problems and think creatively, while forming my identity as an aspiring architect.

Employment

Raymond Letkeman Architects Inc., Vancouver, Intern Architect AIBC

At RLA Inc. I develop drawing sets for various projects, ranging from large mixed-use complexes to smaller multi-family developments. I'm excited to develop a project by collaborating with architects and technologists throughout its phases.

My work ranges from coordinating with our consultants to developing critical drawing sets, from developing schematic design sketches to implementing code reports. I also use Sketchup and Photoshop for renderings.

I also follow developments in the XR industry and discuss possible implementation within our office.
