A Master Plan is critical for the new construction and renovations of Rickards High School; +HSHA has organized this project into phases. Phase I includes the relocation and improvements of parking lots in addition to the demolition of Building 04. Designs have been created for new baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, track and field elements, concessions, and bleachers. Phase II includes the new construction of a two-story building, holding at minimum 20 classrooms, and a plaza for faculty and students. Below are renderings of three options for the plaza. +HSHA, in coordination with Leon County Schools, are collaborating with the high school and community on what will best serve the community's needs and preserve the school's heritage.
