Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Yu-Quan Chen and his family moved to Taichung City in 1994. His knowledge and experience of playing music directly contributed to his strong passion for creating. He graduated and earned a master’s degree in architecture from University of Southern California in 2012 with the honor of Tau Sigma Delta Award. His academic research interests are strongly related to the relationship between architecture, urban space, and subculture phenomena issues. His professional experience includes architecture design, interior design, renovation projects and project management. He was an architectural designer at Jiang Wen-Yuan Architects, in which he has completed various residential and retail projects in Taiwan. From 2008 to 2009 he served as a project manager at the Department of Construction under the Ministry of National Defense in Taiwan. He has overseen and supervised a 7 million major renovation project and been responsible for all phases of project design and management.
