Howard Fang graduated from Cal-Poly Pomona with both Bachelor's and Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.  He has over 15 years of landscape design experience.  He specializes in residential and estate garden design and planning.  He is an expert in drought-tolerant planting design and has extensive planting (and California native planting) knowledge + experience.  He also has experience in pool design and water features.

He is currently working on residential projects of both large and small lots, primarily in the San Gabriel Valley communities.

Famous Garden, Inc. is a landscape architectural firm that specializes in custom built home, multi unit dwellings, commercial real estate, and developer-led residential landscape design for the greater San Gabriel Valley region as well as parts of Orange County and Inland Empire. With more than 10 years of experience, Howard Fang has both assisted and lead the landscape designs of "hundreds" of homes in the San Gabriel Valley area ranging from high-end to affordable residents.

Within his capacity as a Project Manager, the responsibilities include but not limited to the following-
- Prepare design proposal.
- Marketing and networking with local architects and developers.
- Meet with client/developers/architects/engineers.
- Reconnaissance, plant identification, and inventory existing site conditions
- Develop and prepare design concept for client and City review.
- Develop and prepare workable "base sheet" with plans gathered from all design parties involved from architect to engineers in AutoCAD.
- Attend and present design concept to HOA members, or Planning Commission in meetings if necessary.
- Prepare "special" plans such as Fuel Modification plan or Tree Inventory and Replacement plans to assist City review process.
- Prepare working drawings (Planting, Construction, Layout/Dimension, Irrigation, and custom details plans) for Final City review.
- Develop drought-tolerant planting plan per WUCOLS planting palette for California Region 4 climate.
- Prepare water efficiency calculation per California AB-1881.
- Construction supervision and resolving field issues on the spot.
