I obtained my Bachelor degree of Architectural Science in Curtin University in the year of 2014. I am currently employed in Government Division in Hong Kong; The Division is currently pre-running BIM system and I am involved in several BIM projects. Most of my work projects are school and Government Division facilities construction.
I have been in the construction field for more then 6 years when I first started off in Leighton (Asia) Ltd. I worked in the head office in Hong Kong; most of the project Leighton tendered at the time are MTR (railroad / excavation) & Civil infrastructure construction projects. I started my Bachelor degree at the time and decided to work in the Architecture field.
To me, building is not just about construction; it is about people. That's why we call it architecture. I can become an Engineer if I am able to construct. However, in order to create a habitable space, the construction has to do more then just pile up some artificial cement or granite. It evolves consideration about usage, connectivity, life, greenary, and sustainsibility. These all combine to generate the term we identitfy it as "design".
In order to accomplish such an ideal, I am learning to be critised about element happening around me, to be able to judge and make decision effectively, That is my "design".
