The site is at the end of the main axis of Shanghai Expo Park. After the Exposition, the site is redesigned as a high rise business centre.
In response to the axis, the middle of the two high rise towers is open to allow visual penetration. The top levels, which is the viewing deck, connects the two towers. The inner surfaces of the two towers are two symmetrical curvature surfaces so that every office in the tower would have a view of the axis as well as the river.
I participated in the concept design and detailed design of the curvature facades.
