Home Studios is a creative studio for interiors and buildings based in New York, directed by founder Oliver Haslegrave.

The studio practice creates a visual story through an emotional conversation that combines deep research, diversity of art forms, unexpected proportions and material, and devotion to detail. The result is an expression for individuals who resist category to pursue new ideas, new beauty and new meaning.

Oliver Haslegrave was born in New Haven, Connecticut and attended Wesleyan University where he received a degree in film studies.

Always fascinated by the art of narrative, he worked as a fiction editor at Little Brown under Reagan Arthur where he acquired and edited two debut novels, The Patterns of Paper Monsters by Emma Rathbone and the Cradle by Patrick Somerville, named one of the ten best books of 2009 by the New York Times.

Wanting to explore the possibilities of visual narrative, haslegrave left Little, Brown in 2009 to found Home Studios. First recognized for creating cult neighborhood bars and restaurants, home studios currently undertakes hotel, hospitality, residential and retail projects around the world, widely respected for their continual commitment to innovation.

In 2017, Haslegrave founded Homework, experiments in furniture and lighting made one at a time.
