As a designer with experience in high-end residential, hospitality, and light commercial interior design and a graduate of Drexel University’s nationally ranked Interior Design program, I can provide the technical skill and understanding of style that would make me an ideal candidate for a position at a residential or hospitality design firm.

During my time at StoneMar, and previously at Gruber Design Associates, I have worked directly with
clients to produce personalized interiors based on programming needs, style, and budget. To create
custom residential spaces, I combine knowledge of FF&E with innovative methods of application and building techniques to create unique designs. From the initial planning phase through final install, I practice design under the belief that our craft is ultimately about balancing aesthetics with efficiency to create original spaces, tailor-made for each client.

I am proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite Products, 3D Studio Max and hand rendering. I often include computer modeling as an integral part of the design process in addition to sketching in two and three dimensions. Using this combination of technical skills, I explore each space to its fullest potential to ensure the best result. I am also a successful drafter with extensive experience both at firms and in freelance work in communicating design concepts using contract document conventions to ensure accurate specification and installation.

I thrive in a small office team environment, where individuals often perform various tasks to further the company vision for greater success. In my previous positions as a designer, I have been quick to assume additional responsibilities as needed: including administrative, secretarial, marketing and social media, as well as website design and maintenance.

Freshman Writing Award, Honorable Mention

Every year Freshman Writing Program (FWP) instructors may nominate two students in each section of English 101 for consideration for the FWP Writing Awards. A panel of faculty judges reads and evaluates the nominated essays, determining the first-, second-, and third-place winners, as well as several runners-up. The awards are then given out at the Department of English & Philosophy Awards Ceremony at the conclusion of the Week of Writing (WoW) in the spring. In addition, many of the winning essays appear the following year in The 33rd, an anthology FWP instructors use in their classes.
