The firm produces landscapes of enduring beauty and productive functionality in an environmentally appropriate manner through the unification and integration of site, client, programmatic elements and architecture.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
A home is not bound by its walls, but extends to the edges of the property. It encompasses the gardens and outdoor rooms of a summer home or the streetscape, lobbies, terraces, and rooftop gardens of an urban multi-family building. HOLLANDERdesign|Landscape Architects strives to create residential landscapes which respect the three ecologies most essential to a successful and timeless project: The architectural ecology of the buildings contained on the site, the natural ecology of the vernacular landscape, and the human ecology of how people will experience, circulate through, and most importantly, inhabit the landscapes our firm creates.
