This research project is an output of 4 month internship at Carleton Immersive Media Studio, Canada. The research aims to do digital documentation and storytelling of heritage sites throughout the World. My project is based on Nayatapola temple, evaluating its structural strength, creating virtual reality experience, and BIM model for documentation. One of the major concern of the project is to determine the condition after the recent earthquake in Nepal. I worked as a research assistant and developed the 3d Revit model of the temple, VR experience from both the real life as well as generated revit model. The research internship requires the mixed use of Revit, Autocad, Recap, Meshlab, Photoscan, Wonda VR, Lumion, Point tool, Rhino etc.
