About

Architect (urban planning minor). Main interest is City making. I understand my career as an opportunity to transform our built environment from the physical aspect but also transforming communities through open processes. Architecture and urbanism as a collaborative effort.
I´ve worked on a wide variety of projects and different scales ranging from housing to urban projects. I am particularly interested in informal processes / activism and urban co-creation; as well as urban renewal, public policy, and research on city and urban pedagogy, specifically human behaviour in public space. I´ve gained experience in social innovation through my involvement in certain activist projects as 100 in 1 day, Comuna Innova (Ruta N Medellín) and CiudadEscuelaCo. I write a blog about cities for El Espectador and I´m currently working with Medellín City Planning Dept at Strategic Projects workshop.
