I am currently a senior in my last semester of my bachelor;s of science in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology. I am currently looking for a good internship that pays well in NYC to help me expand on my knowledge gained from school.

I help out with the production of drawings such as interior elevations for construction sets. I sometimes produce Existing Condition drawings based on field measures take by someone else in the team which I also help take. Sometimes I drive to the local municipalities with the sets of construction documents to get the construction permits. Applications are done by the project manager.

This degree makes us take 5 semesters of design which includes Design Fundamentals I and II and Design I and II and also Project Integration that is sort of like a thesis class for the Architectural Technology degree.This degree is made as a pathfinder within the architecture field to allow to explore different phases of the profession including construction management, project management, architecture, developing, urban design.
