Oak + Fort is a quickly growing fashion retailer established in 2010. In 2015, after 5 years of rapid growth Oak + Fort moved into a new 10,000sf brand headquarters from the tiny overflowing basement warehouse they had occupied since 2012. Built from the warm-shell glass and concrete structure into offices, kitchens, conference rooms, photo studio, and design studio for up to 80 employees over two floors.

Our goal was to create a space that was open, social, and engaging – where the mood of the interior space could change with the seasons, dappling the spare interior with tree filtered sunlight. Each of the program spaces are divided by partitions that act as a series of layered white planes, rather than walls, offering glimpses that reveal the length of the whole space while still providing areas of privacy.
