About

I graduated from the Kent Institute of Art and Design, the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde, receiving the faculty award for outstanding academic achievement for my research on sustainable architecture.

Prior to founding Heckmann Design in 2014 I worked in award winning architectural practices in Scotland and later as a consultant for private clients as well as some of London’s finest contractors and fit-out specialists.

I have a real passion for the creation of well-designed, well-functioning, comfortable and immaculately detailed homes that withstand the test of time.
