The Tetris Bookstore will be an epicenter for three distinct components of the surrounding community as it serves students, local residents, and retail consumers. These spaces bring a level of transparency when viewed externally, creating an illusion of motion as the blocks appear to be shifting to interlock with it’s counterparts, symbolizing the coming together of the various intentions of the building and the intersection of the subcultures of the surrounding community. Rather than expanding, which makes the world out of reach, this building brings the expanse of the world to it’s patrons.
